WHAT WE AIM TO DO...

We want everyone who see us to enjoy it...simple.

We've no political agenda; no important messages and no-one to answer to. We like what we do and we enjoy it. This we feel, rubs off on everyone who comes to a Twisted Biscuit gig.

We play covers but we do them "our way". You'll never hear a straight copy as we've our own unique sound and take on songs.

We do also write our own stuff and have been doing for 35 years. It's not got a label...not punk, not metal, not rap, just "Twisted Biscuit".

Look out for upcoming EP in 2024 named "The Future Sux".

The band are:

Steve (Guitars)... (Should be playing professionally but is too tight to pack his job in) is simply awesome sauce. Buys a new pedal every week as he is always chasing-tone but to be fair, most guitarists do that don't they? Influenced by the great EVH, has every riff in the book, plus some more in his head.

Joe (Bass)... Proper solid bassist and guitarist. Teaches kids about stuff so brings good pedigree my little chums. Awesome at most things but suppose that's par for the course being a teacher and all. Grows an awesome beard.

Simon (Drums)... Played with Steve and Ian for more than 30 years on and off and now needs some more Biscuit in his life. Proper drummer and inventor of the phrase "double-dobber" which sort of explains his style. Never have you seen anyone hit the tubs so hard...!

Ian (Vocals and frontage)... is influenced by the likes of Ice T and bands like RATM but grew up as a teenager during the late 70's when the original punk and Two-Tone explosion took place. A metal head mainly but loves his hardcore Punk like Exploited and Discharge.

Now put this lot together and you end up with our aim..."To bring all the songs people know and can sing along to, bang up to date but play them with a monstrously Biscuity noise".

Our aim is simple... to make people laugh or at least smile but more importantly, to keep good songs alive by giving them that different, fresh lease of life that some of them need.
